Although CES 2013 is supposed to open its gates officially tomorrow, today we get to witness a launch or two, like the one of the Lenovo Yoga 11S. This is an Intel CPU-based slate with Windows 8 and a laptop/tablet hybrid format, that’s pictured below.
We’re dealing with an 11 inch Yoga, that runs full Windows 8 and it’s related to the OG Lenovo Yoga 13 inch model, that was pretty hot when it was unveiled. Yoga 11S will be released in June and it will be available in multiple models, with a starting price point of $799, that gives you an Intel Core i3 CPU, 4GB of memory, 128 GB of SSD. You will go up to a Core i7, with the Yoga 11S supporting up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB SSD. The standard display is a 11.6 inch unit, with 300 nit and 1366 x 768 pixel resolution.
There will also be an option for a 1600 x 900 pixel unit. The cool thing here is that the keyboard can rotate 360 degrees and create various setups, including traditional laptop and up to full touchscreen tablet. Lenovo promises 6 hours of battery life and the whole device is supposed to weigh less than 3 pounds.
