We’ve seen a lot of affordable Android 4.0 tablets lately, so seeing a stylish slate with a budget price doesn’t surprise anyone anymore. This is the case of the Le Pan II, a slate that will fit the $299.99 price point and give you a run for the money. This is a dual core tablet with a 9.7 inch display, that you can see below and that gets detailed after the break:
Le Pan II is a slate that features a dual core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, Android 3.2 Honeycomb as the operating system and that 9.7 inch multitouch screen with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution I mentioned. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is also promised to arrive on this unit as an update and some of you may argue that buying an Amazon Kindle Fire for $200 and bringing ICS to it is better, but we all need alternatives, right?
Le Pan II uses an edge to edge glass design, built specifically for extra resilience and it looks hot, too. The maker of the device says that the single panel surface makes the device hold up better during the daily uses and the materials are implemented in order to allow the user to keep up with the active, modern lifestyle of nowadays’ people. Q1 release was announced at CES and ICS update soon after.
