Celkon unveiled a new tablet this week, a model dubbed CT111, that’s priced below $50. This unit is coming to India, with a very affordable price tag and it gets detailed below.

Celkon CT111 is priced at $43 and integrates a 7 inch screen, as well as a quad core Cortex A7 processor. 32 GB of storage are inside and this is a WiFi only model, with a 2 megapixel front shooter and 2 megapixel back cam. Support for 3G is only available via dongle and the above mentioned screen supports a WVGA resolution.

There’s a 2500 mAh battery inside and Amazon.com will be offering the device for sale. CT111 runs Android KitKat and its OTG support means it can work in tandem with keyboards, mice, card readers and pendrives. Celkon is a company that’s present in vast territories, including Africa, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and more.
