Ashok Kumar, an analyst from Rodman & Renshaw claims that the very first BlackBerry tablet will come with appealing features like dual cameras (front cam for video calling and rear one), plus a 1GHz CPU under the hood. The same expert mentions that the device’s display will be a 7 inch unit, unlike the 8.9 inch we’ve heard about originally.
RIM tablet’s codename is supposed to be Cobalt and the slate will support BlackBerry tethering, for connectivity. WiFi and GPS are also among the tablet’s features, but still something doesn’t fit in with the picture. There’s nothing to make this device unique just yet, maybe aside from the companion features of Cobalt.
Also, nothing is confirmed yet, although rumours have started surfacing, even concerning a supposed December launch date.
