Available in China from back in March, the BenQ R100 slate has just reached Japan, with a price tag of $371. The device runs Android 2.2 Froyo and packs a 10.1 inch display. You can check it out in the picture below:

The R100 supports a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, relies on an 833MHz CPU (Samsung S5PC100) and comes with 512MB of DDR2 RAM, 8GB of internal memory and a 3 megapixel camera. HDMI out and an SD card reader make this device sound like a pretty good deal, while connectivity is only Bluetooth and WiFi, with no trace of 3G.

The product weighs 720 grams and measures 14.55mm in thickness. US launch anyone?
