Barnes & Noble have a special event scheduled on May 24th, taking place in New York City next Tuesday. Supposedly, the bookstore will announce a new eReader, that fits perfectly with the recent SEC filing, that mentions a new Nook device.
This newcomer could be an improved Nook Color, maybe with Android 3.0 this time and more powerful hardware. This would mark the debut of the first e-reader with Honeycomb, unless Amazon has something to say, but they’re probably more busy with preparing their quad core slates than a new e-book reader.
Next Tuesday will surely be interesting!
