ASUS brought several appealing devices at Computex 2017 last month and now they are starting to appear on sale. Among them we find the ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe, which can be seen as an excellent Microsoft Surface Laptop alternative, or even a killer of it. The product is up for sale on Amazon right now, priced at $1699.
This is a Windows 10 machine with a 14 inch Full HD screen, that offers 178 degree view angles and has Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The screen’s bezel is ultraslim, at just 7.46 mm. Inside the device there’s the latest gen Intel Kaby Lake Core i7 processor, clocked at 2.7 GHz, but going up to 3.5 GHz via Turbo. Up to 16 GB of RAM are available here, as well as up to 1 TB of PCIe SSD.
The whole thing measures 12.9 mm in thickness and the shocking part is that it weighs just 1.1 kg. ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe comes with USB Type-C connectivity and Thunderbolt 3 ports with support for up to 40 Gbps data transfers. The device is even able to power up two 4K external monitors, if you can believe it. The price we mentioned above is actually for the 16 GB RAM model, with 512 GB of storage.
You can start off at $1299, with less storage and RAM, but that version isn’t available yet. The ZenBook 3 Deluxe runs Windows 10 Pro and it comes in a beautiful blue and gold color scheme.
