After a very busy few days at Computex 2017, ASUS is now doing launches in India. It just debuted there the ASUS VivoBook Max X541, priced at $496, a notebook available in 5 color options. Those include chocolate brown, red, silver gradient, aqua blue and white.

This is the third gen VivoBook in the country and it comes as the VivoBook Max X541/A541 models. Specs include a Full HD 15.6 inch antiglare display, the latest 7th gen Intel Core i3 processor and 4 GB of DDR4 RAM. Interestingly, the RAM can be expanded to 12 GB. On board we also find a Chiclet keyboard with 2.3 mm key travel and the touchpad on the device is 11% larger than those on similar size laptops.

Two 3W speakers are here with 24 cc sound chambers and a special transmission line design. Typical ASUS tech is included, like ASUS SonicMaster and ASUS Tru2Life for video, with 200% sharper visuals. On the connectivity front, there’s an USB Type-C port, with 5 Gbps data transfer speed, as well as USB 3.1, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, VGA and HDMI. A SuperBatt technology has been included to expand the battery life up to 3 times.

Of course Windows 10 is the OS of choice here. The product is available now.
