The highest end of the line when it comes to Android tablets and especially ASUS tablets is the Transformer Pad Infinity model right now, that’s supposed to hit the UK on August 31st. The price will be 600 quid for the 64GB model and we already reviewed the slate right here. The US version of the tablet has been known, with price and everything for a while now, but the UK one had yet to be detailed.

The nice thing regarding that 600 quid tablet is that it includes the useful keyboard dock, that adds a couple of extra hours to the battery life of the device. We’re talking here about one of the few Full HD tablets on the market, with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels on a 10.1 inch display, great benchmark results, pretty good camera and kickass Tegra 3 quad core CPU. The device also offers ASUS SonicMaster technology, Gorilla Glass 2 protection for the screen and a very thin chassis, quite a bit below 9mm.

Transformer Pad Infinity weighs 586 grams and offers a microHDMI port, a microSD card slot and the keyboard dock also adds a full USB port and SD card slot. Another appealing aspect is the origin of the display: Full HD Super IPS+ screen. Add to that the metallic design and you’ve got a premium product.
