You probably know that we’re testing the ASUS Transformer Pad 300 now. Well, we’ve previewed it for you here and now we can offer you an official brochure to have a look at. You can download it here and know that it comes straight from ASUS, so it’s as official as it gets.
This affordable quad core Tegra 3 tablet will cost around 480 euro when it comes out and right now we’re in the process of finishing up its review. We have here a 10.1 inch slate that’s available in royal blue, torch red or iceberg white. It’s basically a slightly modified Transformer Prime, that replaces the metal case with a plastic one and decreases the CPU frequency a bit. There’s also an optional 254 mm QWERTY keyboard dock available, that’s easily attached to the slate and brings forth a USB 2.0 port and SD card slot.
The tablet provides 10 hours of battery life and the dock increase that time to 15 hours. The tablet also offers a mini HDMI port with support for HDMI 1.4a interface to connect to a full 1080p HDTV. More info about that can be found in our full review and in the brochure mentioned above.
