Leave it to ASUS to get a cool commercial for a pretty cool product, the Transformer Book Trio. Where else do you get an ad with lions, half naked chicks, close fly by planes and… a boring day at work.
In case this ad finally got to you and you like in the UK, the product will be available there on November 11th, priced at 900 quid, or about $1,440. The retailers selling this hybrid are Amazon, Ebuyer and John Lewis. The dockable tablet features a base Windows 8 PC with a 1.6 GHz Core i5 processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 1 TB hard drive.
The detachable part is the 11.6 inch tablet with Full HD resolution, that also integrates Android 4.2, a 1.6 GHz Atom CPU, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The device also integrates a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, Full HD video recording and stereo speakers with ASUS SonicMaster technology. The PC station features a 33 Wh Li Polymer battery and the tablet packs a 19 Wh Li Polymer battery.
