We knew about the ASUS Transformer AiO All in one PC/tablet, that offers both Android and Windows 8 in a single package, but yesterday the product was unveiled and ready for launch. Today it gets an official promo clip, that you can check out below.
The AiO may seem at first glance just another All in One PC with a Full HD 18.4 inch display. Well, it’s much more than that. It’s a beautifully crafted hybrid with a handle at the back of the screen, that allows you to detach the display part and use it as a tablet. When in All in One mode, the device offers you Windows 8 and your choice of Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processor, plus an Nvidia GeForce GT 730M graphics solution, 4-8 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB in HDD space.
When you detach the tablet part, you get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on a slate with a huge diagonal and integrating a Tegra 3 quad core CPU, among others. There’s also a cool feature like some sort of Remote Desktop in tablet mode, that allows the user to work on a desktop while being in another place. The product is priced at $1300 to start with and it will debut in Q2.
