After being certified by the Taiwanese FCC, the ASUS PadFone Mini now gets a release time frame: next week. That debut time applies to the Taiwanese market, as far as we know. The device has been certified by the Global Certification Forum and even CEO Jerry Shen has hinted at its arrival.

As far as we know from a leak in a benchmark, the slate part will be a 7 incher, while the smartphone part will be a 4.3 incher. Inside the hybrid we’ll have a quad core Snapdragon 400 processor and the resolution of the handset will be qHD. You should know that the next week launch is a sure thing, since journalists in the area have received invitations for a Taipei event.

There’s a little drawing on the bottom left of the invitation pointing towards small docking station of sorts. We’ve also heard that this model will run Android 4.3 and we speculate it will come with a 5 megapixel camera at the back, if not an 8 megapixel one even. I expect the pricing to be primary draw to the product. My personal estimation here is $300 to $350.
