The ASUS PadFone E has just been announced officially and we have every info we need, starting with the official press pics and going to the official specs of the newcomer. We’re dealing with a 4.7 inch handset that gets inserted into a 10.1 inch PadFone Station.
Just like the PadFone Mini, this model integrates a Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM and this time it brings a 13 megapixel camera. The price tag is 410 euros. The PadFone E has been seen before, at various testing labs and such, going for the much needed certification. For now the product is sold only in Taiwan via a local carrier.
From March we should be able to get it internationally. ASUS PadFone E stands out through a dual SIM setup and its handset part comes with a Super IPS 4.7 inch screen, with 720p resolution. The PadFone Station integrates a 10.1 inch screen with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. The CPU here is a Snapdragon 400 quad core unit, clocked at 1.4 GHz.
The PadFone E relies on a 1820 mAh battery, while the slate part has a 5000 mAh power source.
