The ME172V also brings a microSD card slot, that’s sadly lacking from the Nexus 7. Anyway, you should know that this model packs a 7 inch 1024 x 600 pixel display and relies on a 1 GHz VIA WM8950 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, weighs 13 ounces and measures 0.4 inches in thickness.

The ASUS budget slate is available in gray, white or pink and there’s also a special offer with the launch of the device in USA. That special offer involves giving away free units to people. The condition is that you post an entry regarding the way you can use the tablet “for endless fun on the go” with a maximum word count of 200. You can find out more here.
