The ASUS FonePad Note FHD 6 is a device showcased at IFA 2013 in early September and it will hit the stores around the month of November. We have received it for testing purposes and we’ll be back with a full review soon.

The price tag of this model will be about $550 and this is part of a new product segment, one involving big phablets, with 6 inch diagonals. The unboxing shown below reveals a compact box and inside it we find the headphones, charger, USB cable, manuals and such. This is an Intel inside device, with special lid for a microSIM and microSD and with a battery that can’t be removed.

ASUS FonePad Note FHD 6 packs a dual core Intel Atom Z2580 2 GHz processor, of the Clover Trail Plus kind and a PowerVR SGX 544 MP2 GPU. Also on board is a 6 inch Full HD Super IPS+ screen, 2 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of storage and stereo speakers of impressive size integrated at the front. This device packs NFC, Bluetooth 3.0 and it measures 10.3 mm, being a tad bulky.

It integrates an 8 MP cam at the back, a 1.2 MP webcam and a 3200 mAh battery. We’ll be back with more details soon!
