Usually tablets come in two main display sizes: 7 and 10 inches, but there are variations, so models with 5 or 9 inch diagonal sizes appear. There’s also a new Archos product, with an 8 inch 4:3 screen, dubbed the Arnova AR0KSC and scheduled for a March launch.
The image above shows a prototype of the unit and we don’t have many details about it. This is Android material and the device will be available with a metal casing, a total weight of 506 grams and relying on AppLib for software, instead of Google Market.
This could be an upgraded e-reader and if the screen size sounds familiar, know that the Archos 8 Home Tablet also was an 8 inch device.
