The Archos Arnova 7b and 10b G2 tablets have been unveiled and they seem to be packing pretty decent specs, I have to say. Both come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and they’re available in 8GB and 4GB storage versions. MicroSD and front cameras are also included here, apparently.
These models also have in common a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 single core processor, that will aid them in running apps as smooth as possible. Archos Arnova 7B G2 will provide enough battery juice for up to 8 hours and 40 minutes during video playback. That’s 40 minutes more than the 10 inch model, that will come with a TFT LCD display, supporting a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. The 7 incher supports a 800 x 480 pixel res.
Both slates are great for full HD movie viewing and actually provide a decent experience, for a decent price. Although it may sound strange and original, the customer can choose between a capacitive and resistive display when it comes to versions of these tables. Why anyone would choose resistive is beyond my comprehension.
