Archos is a French company known for its tablets, that are both affordable and packed with reasonably good features. Back in January they announced their Titanium lineup, that includes the Archos Titanium 70, 80, 97 and 101 models. Now they’re available in the Archos European Store, if you want to purchase one of them or more.
These devices were also present at CES 2013 and they might also make it to MWC 2013. The Titanium lineup includes Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the OS on these devices and all slates include IPS screens and dual core CPUs, plus quad core graphics. They also have a design feat in common: sleek aluminum cases and all of them cost under $250, yet another welcome feat.
The most interesting model is the Archos 97 Titanium, that packs a 9.7 inch Retina display, with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and a dual core 1.6 GHz processor. The price of this device is $249 and it’s available right now. The Archos 70 packs a 7 inch display, while the 80 has an 8 inch screen and the 101 model has a 10.1 screen. The first mopdel costs $119, the second $169 and the third $199.
