As you know, the MWC show it’s the place where we have the opportunity to see new devices like tablets and smartphones, but on the other side, the Mobile World Congress 2014 show it’s the place where the best gadgets of last’s year are awarded. Yesterday, the Apple iPad Air tablet won the Best Tablet Award.
The Apple iPad tablet was really one of the best tablets in 2013. This device brought a slimmer aluminium case and a lot of hardware improvements, like a dual-core 64-bit Apple A7 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz and 1 GB of RAM combined with a great operating system. The tablet was also lighter than the previous generation and arrived with a great battery.
However, in 2013 we’ve seen another couple of tablets that should receive this title as well as the iPad Air. We can remember the iPad Mini Retina, a device that managed to provide a great Retina display and a beautiful design that dates back iPad Mini design that inspired the iPad Air too. On the 2nd place we had the LG’s G Pad 8.3 tablet, a reborn from the korean company that arrived with a great design and a lot of hardware specs that made it one of the most powerful tablets on the market.
Next, we can also class the Nexus 7 tablet as a contender to the title, a device that doesn’t need a introduction. It’s little, fast, looks good and one of the most important things, it’s pretty accessible. The Nexus 7 tablet promise the fastest updates available on the market, so you don’t have to wait a long time just for this, like in case of other tablets brands. What tablet do you think that should have won the MWC’s Best Tablet Award?
