Alldocube is a brand from China, that just announced the local debut of a brand new slate, the iPlay 40. It’s an affordable slate priced at just $152, that uses an unusual CPU. It’s not a MediaTek or a Snapdragon, but rather the UNISOC Tiger T618. We have all the specs below.
Alldocube iPlay 40 packs 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, plus it offers dual 4G connectivity and dual band WiFi. It also has quad speakers and a 10.4 inch Quad HD screen. Well, the resolution is actually 2000 x 1200 pixels. The measurements are also not half bad, at 7.8 mm in thickness and 474 grams in weight. Interestingly, materials are also not bad, since magnesium is used here, something we’ve seen on the Microsoft Surface devices before. The CPU inside, the Unisoc model is an octa core 12 nm chip, with cores clocked at 2 GHz and a Mali G52 3EE GPU.
According to the official details, the CPU achieves 210.000+ points in AnTuTu. We also have 4 BOX Audio speakers and a new customized UI on top of Android 10. There’s also a microSD card slot, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and dual 4G support. Sales of the product will begin on December 10th in China. Alldocube is a Chinese digital brand that belongs to Shenzhen Alldocube Science and Technology Co. Ltd.
