While Samsung and Lenovo are fighting for supremacy on the Indian tablet market, Alcatel wants a piece of the pie too. So, it’s no wonder they just introduced a new slate in India, dubbed Alcatel Pop 4 10, a 2 in 1 model with keyboard.
This is a LTE tablet, with a flip detachable Bluetooth keyboard, that makes this a 2 in 1 machine. There’s a 10.1 inch Full HD screen in the mix, that’s also fully laminated. It has a metallic chassis, a slim and thin one, with a minimalistic design. This 4G slate relies on an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, an 8 MP rear camera and a 5830 mAh battery. It provides up to 450 hours of standby time, in case you’re wondering.
Dual speakers are in the mix too, with Waves Maxx Audio support. There are also preinstalled productivity apps, like WPS Office, NCERT books and fun learning kids’ apps. These pieces of software don’t even need an Internet connection to be used. The Bluetooth keyboard pictured here is bundled, available inside the box. Its standby time is an impressive 4000 hours.
From what I’ve heard the tablet with keyboard is available for purchase on Flipkart, priced at $199.
