Tablets with projector included are pretty much a nice and we see about 2 or 3 such products a year. This year, one of them is the Aiptek ProjectorPad P70, a 7 inch slate with projector included.

This is an Android device, that can put your movies, pictures, presentations and documents on a big wall or canvas. The P70 has some modest specs, aside from the projector and the price is a bit on the steep side, at $369. The product will come in February, packing a 7 inch 1024 x 600 pixel IPS display, a quad core processor, 16 GB of built in storage, a microSD card slot, as well as a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 MP front shooter.

The projector offers a modest 854 x 480 pixel resolution and uses a 50 lumens bulb. Aiptek claims you should get about 2 hours of battery life while using the tablet’s pico projector. This is not Aiptek’s first attempt at a projector tablet, since they had the ProjectorPad P100 model introduced a few years ago. That model was actually a bit better, with a 300 lumen projector.
