HONOR is going all-in on mobile gaming with the launch of its latest tablet, the HONOR Pad GT, unveiled today in China alongside the HONOR GT Pro smartphone. This sleek new device is aimed squarely at gamers and media lovers, featuring premium hardware wrapped in a durable, ultra-slim all-metal chassis that’s just 6.12mm thick and weighs 480 grams.
The standout feature here is the 11.5-inch 2.8K (2800 x 1840) display with a buttery-smooth 144Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It covers 1.07 billion colors, hits 500 nits of brightness, and is IMAX Enhanced certified for cinema-like visuals. You’re also getting a suite of eye protection tech including AI Defocus Eye Protection, DC Dimming, and TÜV Rheinland certifications for flicker-free viewing and low blue light emissions.
Under the hood, the Pad GT is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme Edition, paired with HONOR’s proprietary Turbo X optimization engine. That means smarter resource allocation, predictive lag management, and asynchronous computing for smoother gameplay—especially useful for titles like Genshin Impact and Honor of Kings.
HONOR didn’t skimp on cooling either. The tablet uses a 22,000mm² heat dissipation system and improved graphite tech to keep things cool, cutting SOC temps by up to 10°C during heavy use.
There’s a serious sound system on board, too. With eight speakers, the Pad GT delivers 360° spatial audio with punchy bass and crisp highs—perfect for immersive gaming and video sessions.
The tablet supports keyboard and mouse mapping, as well as game controller connectivity, making it feel closer to a desktop setup. It runs MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, and supports stylus input with features like AI Notes, floating window multitasking, and seamless cross-device integration with other HONOR products.
You also get a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a massive 10,100mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging.
