We finally have an official shipping date for HTC Flyer, that was confirmed for launch in an official event in London yesterday. Turns out that the product will be reaching Europe on May 9, which we partially knew, considering that some retailers in the UK were already leaking info related to the release of the 3G version of the slate in May.
No info on the US release yet, but right now we know that the EVO View 4G, Sprint’s version of the Flyer will be coming this summer with 4G. Android 3.0 Honeycomb could be available on the device at launch and T-Mobile could also be picking up the slate in future. Wonder if the European version will also come with Honeycomb…
