Honor has been sold off by Huawei back in December 2020 and it keeps on launching products ever since then. One of the newcomers is the Honor Tablet X7, also known as the Honor Tab X7 and just unveiled in China. It packs an 8 inch screen and uses a 5100 mAh battery. We have more details below.
Honor Tab X7 packs a MediaTek Helio P22T processor, which helps the tablet run Android 10 with Magic UI 4.0 on top. There’s also 3 GB of RAM here, 32 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. The Honor Tab X7 is built around an 8 inch LCD screen with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and a special E Book Mode, which prevents eye fatigue during prolonged reading times. On the camera front the package is rather modest with a 2 MP selfie shooter with fixed focus and a 5 megapixel main camera with autofocus.
The slate is made of metal, it has an 8.5 mm waistline and weighs 325 grams. Its 5100 mAh battery is juiced up via a microUSB port, which supports up to 10W charging. There’s also a 3.5 mm audio jack, in case you’re interested, plus Bluetooth connectivity, WiFi and also 4G, although I can’t vouch for that. Honor made the device kid friendly, by installing on it an education center and areas for small ones. The device will be sold in China in 3 versions, including a WiFi only model starting at $140.
There’s also a 4G version priced at $185 and a kid friendly unit with a silicone case priced at $155.
