I know it’s a bit of a stretch to call these tablets “new”, but considering they’re just debuting in USA, I guess that works. Huawei’s latest T3 and M3 Lite models have been launched for months now in other countries and now they’re arriving in Donald Trump’s country.
These are all Android models, on the affordable side of things, with prices starting at $139 and maxing out at $249. The cheapest of the bunch is the Huawei MediaPad T3 8 inch slate, with an 8 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display and a Snapdragon 425 CPU. It also has 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a 4800 mAh battery. There’s dual band WiFi in the mix here, a 5 megapixel back camera, plus a 2 MP front shooter. It runs Android Nougat.
Then comes the Huawei MediaPad T3 10 inch, at $159 and sporting a 9.6 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display. It’s got a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot. Oddly enough it keeps the same 4800 mAh battery. The camera setup is also similar and Nougat is till the OS.
We move on to the M3 Lite series, with an 8 inch model at $199 and an 10 inch one at $249. These ones have Full HD resolution, they share the 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, microSD card slot and octa core processor. There’s WiFi ac and Bluetooth 4.1, plus 8 MP back cameras and 8 MP front shooter on both. A plus is the set of Harman Kardon stereo speakers and fingerprint scanner.
Nougat is here yet again.
