Showcased at IFA 2015, with the rest of the Acer Predator lineup, the Acer Predator 8 tablet has been made available on preorder today and it goes for $299.99. This gaming slate is pictured below and it also gets a promo video after the break.
Designed with a focus on gaming, this tablet has an 8 inch Full HD screen and relies on an Intel Atom Z8700 (X7) CPU clocked at 1.6 GHz. It also has dual haptic motors, that give you the required feedback in games and packs 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and quad speakers with virtual surround sound. Acer provides a microSD card slot here, Android 5.1 and a screen with 100% NTSC gamut.
Predator 8 comes with a 4550 mAh battery, that should provide a max running time of 8 hours. Acer is accepting preorders via its own website, for the above mentioned price tag. WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 are also on board, plus a 5 megapixel main camera and a 2 MP front shooter. Strangely, there’s no HDMI action here.
