LG Electronics got the certification for a tablet called the LG-V940n on September 2nd 2015 and it appears that this is the codename for the LG G Pad II 10.1, in fact. That model was unveiled at the end of August and it’s nearing launch.

The FCC certification for the slate came for its WiFi version, by the way. The G Pad II 10.1 has a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution on a 10.1 inch panel and it uses a quad core Snapdragon 800 processor, clocked at 2.26 GHz. It also relies on a 7500 mAh battery and has a very slim bezel and an elegant design. The product supports a new Reader Mode, that makes reading e-books more comfortable, by reducing the blue light of the backlight.

An interesting thing here is that the tablet comes with Microsoft Office for Android tablet bundled, plus an extra 100 GB of free OneDrive storage for 2 years. LG G Pad II 10.1 was also shown at IFA 2015 and it comes with 16 GB of storage, 2 GB of RAM, microSD card slot and a 5 MP back camera, plus front 2 MP camera.
