Last year Samsung introduced on the market one of the best tablets out there, the Galaxy Tab S, slate that arrived with either a 8.4 inch or a 10.5 inch panel. Now, in 2015, the South-Korean company plans to unveil the second generation of this device that will be called as expected, Galaxy Tab S2.
Today, we get to know that both SM-T715 and the SM-T815 tablets prepared by Samsung got certification from Bluetooth SIG, these models representing the 8 inch and the 9.7 inch variants. Is confirmed that we’ll get Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity on all models and that LTE variants will also be available after.
In terms of specs, we’ll have panels with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution, an octa-core Exynos 5344 processor clocked at 1.9 GHz, 3 GB of RAM memory, a 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing sensor and microSD card support. According to the latest rumors, it seems that the Galaxy Tab S will be the slimmest tablet on the market with a thickness of only 5.4 mm.
