Usually iPad clones were all design and no good specs, but this time we get an iPad Mini clone that actually has some very appealing features. It’s a pretty interesting product, since it’s both a 64 bit slate and a model that comes in a Android or Windows 8.1 version, depending on your choice (not dual boot as we initially wrote by mistake). The device is called Teclast Taipower X89HD:

This device relies on a 22 nm X86 processor, clocked at 1.83 GHz and it also integrates a 7.9 inch display with a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. There are 2 GB of DDR3L RAM on board, 32 GB of flash storage and a space gray metallic body in the mix. The product measures a mere 7.4 mm in thickness and it’s a pretty good iPad Mini clone. There’s a Bay Trail T CPU Inside, some pretty slim bezels offered upfront and what seems like a front camera, too.

I see that the microUSB port and audio jack are placed at the bottom and unlike the iPad, the volume buttons are unified, not separated into pill shaped buttons. Teclast Taipower X89HD seems to feature at least one back speaker and I can’t really tell if has a back camera or not, because the pictures aren’t very descriptive. Anyway, OS-wise, there’s either Android KitKat or Windows 8.1, which is a treat. Which do you choose?
