Back at MWC 2014 Huawei kicked off the show with a few announcements, including a tablet with a very interesting design, that reminded us of the HTC One. That’s the Huawei MediaPad M1, that we detailed here a few days ago and now it gets priced.

The device has a price tag of $208 and its unique aspects are the front side speakers that are probably the aspect most resembling the HTC One. The device has a 3G edition and a 4G one as well and it comes with an 8 inch display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. There’s an IPS panel in the mix and the slate measures 7.9 mm in thickness and weighs 329 grams. We also get a quad core 1.6 GHz Kirin processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8/16 GB of storage.

Finally, specs include a microSD card slot, a 5 megapixel camera at the back and a 1 MP front shooter. On top of Android we’ve got Huawei Emotion UI 2.0. The LTE version of the product supports LTE Cat 4 connectivity, able to reach up to 150 Mbps and other features that are included are a 4800 mAh battery, good enough for 8 hours of video playback.
