Samsung’s got a cool event coming on August 11 and there’s a chance we’ll be seeing its long awaited tablet and a fresh PMP being shown to the public on that date. Known as Galaxy Tab, the new slate could be accompanied by the YP-MB2 PMP on its debut, although nothing has been confirmed just yet.

Galaxy Tab will be the company’s first Android tablet, packing a 7 inch display, GPS, dual cameras, WiFi and 3G support. As far as the PMP is concerned, YP-MB2 will look just like the Galaxy S, but leaving out the phone features. Also, the camera will be downgraded to a 3.2 megapixel resolution.
