The Nexus 7 2013 users have been complaining about issues with the multitouch input on their devices and now these issues have got so bad, that ASUS and Google had to deal with them. Thus, they released a software update that does exactly that.

The Nexus 7 2013 has already received an update after launch, if I remember well, so this is a second update. The new multitouch update is software version JSS15Q and it should be coming to all units soon. This update shouldn’t be confused with the JSS15J update, especially since the names are similar.

Paul Wilcox, Google community manager confirmed that the new update handles the touchscreen issues and you’re going to want to install it. Google has pulled the JSS15J update, that seemed to be causing some trouble. Hopefully that’s the first and last big problem of the new Nexus 7, that’s the kind of tablet to sell millions of units.
