It’s a known fact that in 2010 EVERY major company has thought about or taken action as far as tablet production is concerned. The latest big name to join the tablet business is Cisco, with a product called Cius, pictured below. This device was announced a couple of days ago and we learn that it comes with Android and great video conferencing features.
Its specifications include HD video streaming support, multi party conferencing, email, messaging, web browsing and managing video content from cloud or local servers. As far as hardware is concerned, you get a front 720p HD webcam working at 30 fps, WiFi, a 5 megapixel camera at the back, an accelerometer and a removable battery.
Cisco has been focusing greatly on video streaming and teleconferencing over the past years, so they must’ve found a way to take advantage of this niche yet again, at great profit.
