The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S may seem like your average notebook with Windows 8 and a 11.6 inch display. Well, it is and it’s not, because when you open up the lid, you can also remove it and use it as a tablet.
The Yoga 11S was introduced at CES 2013 in January and a couple of days ago it appeared on the FCC website. It will go on sale in June, priced at $799 and up. This is the third member of the IdeaPad Yoga family, actually, since the first was the Yoga 13, a 13.3 inch display hybrid with a price tag around $1000.
The second model coming after that is the IdeaPad Yoga 11, that has the same size and shape as the 11S, but uses an Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU. Now back to the Lenovo Yoga 11S, this device packs an Intel Ivy Bridge CPU, Windows 8 Pro software and a 11.6 inch 1366 x 768 pixel display. It also comes with up to 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage and a weight of 3.1 pounds. The device is supposed to offer up to 6 hours of battery life.
And here’s a video demo of the device, for you here:
