The folks of SamMobile struck solid gold today, when they came across a very interesting leak, one that shows a preliminary list of Samsung smartphones and tablets will receive Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie updates and also Android 4.2 updates.
In case you didn’t know, Samsung Galaxy S4 is actually the first Samsung smartphone to run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean straight out of the box, so Sammy has a lot of catching up to do. The leaked list is pretty huge and the highlights are certainly the devices prone to get Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie updates. Those include Galaxy Note 8.0, Galaxy Note II and Galaxy Note 10.1, in 3G, LTE and WiFi versions.
Android 4.2 is expected to come as an upgrade for the likes of the Galaxy S III Mini, Galaxy S II Plus and Galaxy Note, for example. None of these is set in stone, so things may change. Still, it’s nice to finally get used to the idea that we’ll get to see an Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie in just two months or so.
