Remember the iPhone bands and orchestras? Now the iPad is here to take over and boy that big screen is good to play some digital music! A couple of days ago, during a concert at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, Chinese artist Lang Lang, an amazing pianist, pulled out his iPad during an encore and went wild on it. Here’s the video showing the performance:
Lang Lang sang (we know it sounds funny) Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Flight of the Bumblebee”, using the Magic Piano iPad app from Smule and putting it to good use. At some point, he used the real life piano and the iPad at the same time and even the conductor wanted to have a go at the device. We’re looking forward to seeing the first DJs doing the same thing.
