If you have an Android device nearby, especially a tablet, you should try typing “Weather” into Google Search. You’ll notice that Google now offers a little interactive weather visualization. This new visualization gives you a detailed look at the current forecast, precipitation and wind direction plus speed.

There’s also an hourly and 10 day forecast, if you want to plan ahead. Google also announced this new weather feature, that adds a new level of interaction to tablet search and gives the user a glimpse to the future of Google search. This can be considered a minor bit of Google Now, but without needing Jelly Bean. The feature works on both iOS and Android tablets, so iPad owners weren’t forgotten. I imagine a future where a simple voice command to look for a restaurant will bring up places you’ve already dined at and reviews done by your Google+ friends.

Also, if you want to make reservations at that place, in the future all you need to do is register via Google+ and you’re all set. Of course, I’m speculating here, but that may end up being the future. Who imagined touchscreen phones and Google Glasses in the early 2000s? And here we are today…
