Nuovii Technology is a company from China, responsible with the slate you can see below. This is an Android 2.3 device and Nuovii is a professional mobile phones and tablets manufacturer. The tablet pictured below is the Nuovii M75, a Gingerbread slate with an Infotmic X220 1 GHz processor and 7 inch display.
It supports a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, Flash 11.1 and HTML5. Its screen is a resistive one with 2 point multitouch and other specs include 256 MB of DDR3 RAM, with a 512MB option available as well, 4GB of NandFlash memory, with an 8/16GB alternative and 16.5 mm thick case. If you were to ask me, I’d say this product should cost around $100 or so, but don’t take my word for it.
This is the kind of slate that Eastern European companies such as Allview buy in bulk and rebrand, then they sell them for a bit of profit. I wonder when companies that are not from Asia will start producing their own tablets… Are there any European, American, Australian or Africa companies doing that?
