Vodafone and Lenovo have been partnering up for tablets lately and their latest endeavour was unveiled in Romania, Eastern Europe this week. This is a world premiere, as the Vodafone smart Tab III 10 tablet debuted on Thursday in Romania and today in Germany. The folks of Mobilissimo.ro, our sister site were present at the event.
This is a 10 inch Android tablet with 3G connectivity and it packs an IPS panel with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, plus a quad core MediaTek 8389 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, as well as microSD with support for 32 GB. Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is also available here, as well as 3G connectivity with speeds of up to 21.6 Mbps.
We’ve got Bluetooth 4.0 on board, a 5 MP shooter at the back and a front 0.3 megapixel camera. There’s a 6350 mAh battery inside and overall, this device has a thickness of 8.6 mm. The price tag off contract for this model is 299 euros, which is pretty steep, seeing how you can get a much better Nexus 7 2013 for much less, but also with a smaller screen.
