ViewSonic just unveiled a new ViewPad tablet model, the 10Pro, that uses an Intel Oak Trail CPU and dual boots into Windows 7 Pro and Android 2.2. Actually the dual boot part is kind of unusual, since the device uses an Android as a Windows app that can be accessed straight from Microsoft’s OS.
The device comes with an Intel Oak Trail Z670 1.5GHz CPU, 3G radio, a microSD card slot and 32GB of onboard storage. There’s also a 3500mAh battery on board, with enough juice for 4.5 hours of 1080p video playback. ViewSonic has quite a bunch of devices to showcase during Computex 2011, including the ViewPad 7x Honeycomb dual core tablet, a pico projector, some cameras, photo frames and an LED monitor.
More info to come in the following days, as Computex debuts.
