Toshiba has just announced that it’s preparing the REGZA Tablet AT703 slate model for a debut on June 21st, when it be released on the market. The product comes with an original Toshiba handwriting app called TruNote, that allows the user to take 1 million pages of notes.
The device measures 10.5 mm in thickness, weighs 671 grams and runs Android 4.2, based on an Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. There’s also 2 GB of RAM on board and a high resolution 10.1 inch LCD display. The screen supports a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and an extra bonus are the added Harman/Kardon stereo speakers incorporated into the slate.
Toshiba’s REGZA AT703 will support Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, HDMI USB 2.0 and it has a promised battery life of 9.5 hours, with a charging time of 4.5 hours. Rumors say that this unit may be priced at about $946, or the equivalent on the Japanese market.
