The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has been quite the topic of discussion ever since it launched at IFA 2014 last month. It’s expected to hit the stores in November, but if you can’t wait till then you can quench your thirst of knowledge with the video below.
It’s an unboxing title done in Danish and it’s quite detailed, also including a tour of the device. This model runs Android 4.4.4 with a custom UI and it packs a Triluminous display with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. Inside we’ve got a Snapdragon 801 CPU, 3 GB of RAM and at the back there’s an Exmor RS 8 MP camera with Info eye and AR effects available in the camera UI.
The tablet is dust tight and waterproof and gets IP68 certification. It also has a microUSB port with MHL support and a GPS receiver, plus a 4500 mAh battery. Because of the waterproofing, the microUSB port is hidden under a flap, so you may want a special charger dock if you want easier charging. How do you feel about buying the device for about $500?
