Sharp debuted this week a brand new 7 inch tablet with an IGZO screen and 1Seg television. The device is meant for the Japanese market and it will be available via local carrier KDDI.
This 7 inch slate supports a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and relies on an IGZO LCD panel. Under the hood there’s a 4080 mAh battery, with energy saving features and 1170 hours of standby time. The device runs Android 4.2 and weighs 263 grams. It integrates a 13 megapixel back camera, a front 2.1 MP shooter and it measures 10.8 mm in the thickest part.
Sharp Aquos Pad SHT22 features 16 GB of storage, 2 GB of RAM and a microSD card slot. It will be available in white, with support for NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 150 Mbps LTE and Fullseg television. By the way, this model is also waterproof.
