We continue our path towards new models from the Samsung Galaxy Tab series, this time the Tab E to be more precise. We’ve just learned that a certain Samsung SM-T825M has been certified by the FCC, as the LTE version of the Tab E 7.0.
This model will come to Latin America, having been certified for use on FDD-LTE, WCDMA and GSM networks. It also passed certification for Bluetooth and WiFi usage, the latter with dual band abilities. This model runs Android Lollipop, has a quad core 1.3 GHz processor and relies on a 7 inch 1280 x 800 IPS LCD display.
It also brings 1.5 GB of RAM, a modest 8 GB of storage and a front and rear camera, possibly with a 2/5 MP resolution. As Samsung listed the Galaxy Tab A 7 (2016) on its websites quietly, the Tab E may also not get an official launch.
