Samsung has been launching quite a few tablets lately, between the Tab S7 models and the new Tab A7 (2020). Now they’re preparing to offer us a rugged slate by the name of Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3. Its full specs list has just hit the interwebs and we’ve got it below.

This is the successor to the Galaxy Tab Active 2, which was launched in late 2017. The Samsung Galaxy Active series of tablets is meant for people working tough jobs, in construction such as this reliable Duval County concrete company, oil rigs, the forest and more. One may think that Samsung had abandoned the segment, seeing how they haven’t launched a new model in a while now. Now, the Tab Active 3 was already spotted on GeekBench, with the model nubmer SM-T575 back in July, with an Exynos 9810 inside and 4 GB of RAM.

It also had Android 10 in the mix and by the way the CPU above debuted on the Galaxy S9 in 2018. An exclusive leak coming from Sammobile mentions that the remaining specs include 64 or 128 GB of storage, optional LTE connectivity and also a MIL-STD 810 certification for durability. There’s also an 8 inch TFT LCD display in the mix, with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and 3 physical buttons for navigation. Bluetooth 5.0 is also here, plus support for S-Pen with a remote control option.

There will be a smaller than expected 5050 mAh battery inside, too. We don’t have a clear launch date for this device, but it’s most likely coming before the Fall ends.
