Samsung is rumored to unveil a tablet or two at MWC 2013, including the Galaxy Note 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab 3, in one or two versions. The Tab 3 is actually supposed to be a series including a 7 inch model and a 10.1 inch model for starters and replacing the Galaxy Tab 2 series. The products may actually come later than anticipated, most likely in summer.
The two Tab 3 models will have 5 megapixel cameras, optional 3G/4G connectivity, 32/64 GB of storage and they should ship with quad core processors, or maybe even the 8 core Exynos 5 Octa, plus 2 GB of RAM. Rumors also say that the new models will be unveiled in white and the next generation Galaxy Tablets are built under the codename Santos, with the model numbers being GT-P3200, GT-P3210, GT-P5200 and GT-P5210.
If we’re still talking about codenames, the Galaxy Note 8.0 will be dubbed Kona and there will a new upcoming high end tablet from Samsung, known as Roma or the GT-P8200. That may be the rumored Nexus 10 upgrade we’ve been hearing about that will upgrade the dual core Cortex A15 chipset to a quad core one or even better. Who’s excited about this?
