This weekend we found out that the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 was supposedly canned, but there will still be an 8 inch and 10 inch version. Now Phone Arena scored some pics of a Galaxy Tab 3, a very interesting scoop, seeing how we’re more than 20 days away from the start of MWC 2013, the event that will probably include the unveiling of the Tab 3.
In these pictures the model number is pretty hard to read, but it’s pretty sure this is a Galaxy Tab 3. We know that Samsung is going to debut its slates in white first. As far as the interface goes, the one pictured on the lid of the box seems to be fake, since Samsung never uses stock Android on its slates. Also leaked today there’s a list of codenames for Samsung’s upcoming tablets, including LTE versions of the Galaxy Note 8.0, the dropped Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and 10.1.
The most interesting product here is the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus, that could either be a bigger than 10 inch slate, or maybe a sort of cheaper Nexus 10. There’s also the Samsung Vienna codename, that we have no idea what to associate with… Codenames below:
