Samsung Galaxy Note has already gone past the 1 million units sold mark and it’s now chasing the next record, that will be aided greatly by the sales in the USA. Galaxy Note was already announced for AT&T a couple of days before CES and now it appears that Verizon and Sprint also want a piece of the action. However, they might rebrand the device to show its identity, so we might get it under the name Galaxy Journal.
An analyst is the one with this information, being quoted as saying that the Galaxy Note is certainly headed to Sprint and Verizon. Samsung Galaxy Journal could be the final name of the slate/phone hybrid. Just as a reminder this is a dual core device with Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and 5.3 inch diagonal. We also have a stylus available and a very powerful 8 megapixel camera, that surprises everyone in the best way possible.
This model also has LTE connectivity, runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and it’s one of the first devices scheduled to receive Android 4.0 as an update, whenever Samsung decides to do that. I’m curios what price tag we’ll see for this unit and I’m expecting something like $249.99 here, if I were to guess. Could this become the perfect Valentine’s Day gift in 2012?
